Grateful Dead - Egypt 78 inspired Bolo Tie Jasper ✶ send me a fewThis is by far my favorite bolo in the collection. This piece is dedicated to their three night run in Egypt in 1978. The final night of their 3 night run was during a lunar eclipse. There is so much history behind these performances. The stone is a picture Jasper, meant to embody the desert and pyramids. The "dead" cut out on the back of the piece is a symbol they used to represent this performance. The ankh represents eternal life after death, just
