The shoulders are squared off and the cut is kept simple but with high drama details that really add up to create a beautiful piece

The first thing to address in this is that I believe the black Pucci label in the top is a later add on

The dress is cut long and lean† with no defined waist until you cinch it in with the belt

1940s Rayon Hostess Wrap Dress designer-john-galliano Very unique and very beautifulThis is a great little classic 1930s wrapped Hostess gown and it is incredible to think that this little beauty would have originally been intended to be worn only in the house as perhaps a light house coat or hostess dress for the day as it makes for a beautiful full length day dress for a modern girl. The shoulders are detailed with soft pleats gathered into panels across the shoulders and the wrapped design allows for a peek of skin at the neck.
