Each sleeve has a short metal and nylon zipper set into it

It will fit a wide variety of sizes with it just feeling larger and with more volume on smaller frames

It is quite weighty due to the extensive beading and really a extraordinary piece

She was a master at cut and often fitted garments directly on a model. She was also very hands on and with earlier pieces like this you can be sure that she was personally involved in their construction. The dress is made from a very fine, light silk satin in black. Onto this is a 'ribbon' design in tone of blue that covers the straps and circle the dress at the neck, bust, hips, skirt and hem.
