The ensemble is very well preserved

and long puffed sleeves that end in lace-trimmed cuffs with pearl accents

It has an adjustable collar and a shaped tab closure with brass buttons at the front and back of the neck

The present example is an exceptionally rare surviving garment from this era

Each of the flounces is decorated with lace. The cape is fastened at the neck with wide (original) silk ribbons. In good condition. Stained on the inside, a few moth holes on the outside. The decoration is not included.
