The silk under each arm was weakening so I had it reinforced and backed by a professional seamstress - please see the photos

There is one gold casing missing over a hinge along the back and perhaps a slight tarnishing/fading to the gold color on the strap in some areas - but it is very slight and this is natural patina - it is after all almost 100 years old

The edges are trimmed in a wide ribbon of silk satin and that same silk forms a multi-petaled bow at the front

Cut halter style you step into it and then it hooks and ties at the bottom of the deep front plunge
