L440 Crystal It is a hydrated silicate18th century Italian gold distressed fragment with geode slices, chalcedony rosettes, crystal quartz points, and kyanite on a hand painted gallery 1 inch canvas. All of the minerals have been gold plated. The canvas is distressed with gold powders used by restorers in Italy in the 18th and 19th century. The powders coordinate with the chalcedony rosettes and fragment piece. These powders are no longer available. The 18th century fragment originally
