The series, which was exhibited in Asbestos Art Space in the spring of 2025, explore the isolating and simultaneously freeing experience of womanhood as a queer woman. I wanted to depict this experience through circus imagery. Ballerina Blues depicts the feeling of loneliness related to situations where youre being exposed in some sort of way.
