The kit has the fabric for the front, which is quilted before the pillow is put together. We did not put a ruffle on our pillow but, there is enough fabric if you choose to put a ruffle. We opted to put our front and back together and bind. Pattern, pillow form and batting are not included. Pattern used is from Cut Loose: Shooting Stars Sham
