The forward is dated May 1944. It seems to be something of a collectors reference book. There is a swan drawn in pencil on the title page. It also has some discoloration and warping. A few pages have small tears. It is still holding together well and very usable. A great resource with a wealth of information. It measures about 8 1 4" by 6"
