Abstract Glaze Stoneware Sky Disk (2024) featured Paper size 40 x 30This stoneware disk is made of Iberian clay and is connected to the tradition of "Bi Discs" as they were carved out of Jade over 5000 years ago. It was glazed and fired multiple times resulting in a very complex abstract drawing pattern. Diameter of about 19cm, weight is about 300g, stamped on verso. 2024 mark on verso Presented during the "Marks of Life" exhibition in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, UK.
