Painting this little Australian Magpie with its serious, no nonsense stare was pure joy for me Im completely obsessed with magpies and this one felt especially piercing. Theres a quiet intensity in the way they watch the world and I enjoyed every experimental brushstroke when creating this wooden art piece. I loved how
