He will be a small delight on a shelf

Quinault Partially Imbricated Coiled Basket figural Sir Anthony Van DyckThis is an older Quinault coiled basket with loops on its rim. It has a "V" design coming down from the rim and up from the base. The coiling is done with raffia which was very popular with the Quinault at one time. The coiling is smooth and even and the basket is in excellent condition for a basket as old as it is. A good addition for a collection of Washington or Northwest baskets. H. 6 "; D. 8 " c. 1930 #9018
