First, the leather is embossed with a basket weave pattern so the entire circumference of the strap has this great cross hatch design permanently embossed into it a really great textural treatment. Then four pieces of this strap are die cut so the ends fit together like a puzzle piece, fitting through an opening that is cut at the ends, then finally all four pieces are riveted back
