I did this as the light was low but also to capture the blur of motion in front of me

the American flag that stood proudly atop the arch had to be blowing in the wind during this whole time (not just limply hanging there) and I was determined to sit there until I got what I wanted

I shot this one was a companion to my first Eiffel Tower shot from the other side of the same bridge

It took some technical wizardry and further trial and error to both get the foreground a few inches from the lens

Yeats was buried. I shot this in the middle of a rain storm. Winters in Ireland are incredibly wet and rain is sort of the default weather, and this was the only time I had to shoot this image.
