All of the spoons have a monogram of the initials EJ on the front of their handles

while the remaining four were made by Charles Eley and date to 1826

Each plate has a ruffled, gilt edge and a decorative rim painted with pink roses and small blue flowers. The center of each plate has a nice pink rose detail and a circle of gilt design. The underside of each plate bears the Coalport of England hallmark that was used 1891 1920 and a retailers mark for Shreve, Crump & Low. This
