The brass sheets are beaten by hand into shallow vessels by traditional metal workers of Jaipur, "the Thatheras". The vessels are thereafter antiqued and lacquered to prevent tarnishing and to make it food safe. This conversation starter can be used as a serving bowl or a centrepiece.
