To put that in perspective, I was 17 years old when I first built the Chieftain and now I'm 61 so I've just built another one. Its still very nicely moulded, with no flash present and about as accurate as its possible to be. Evidence that this model was originally motorized is still there on the lower hull in the form of screw and switch holes still present. Many Tamiya tanks from this era were sold
