The wood has been dyed a blue green colour which really stands out against the natural brown of the wood. This is a beautiful quality handmade fountain pen. As the wood is very spalted, I have had to stabilized it with resin under vacuum to ensure it does not break down over time. This provides strength to the wood and ensures a long life
