The lumber used for this table was carefully reclaimed from the former Detroit Fire Department Headquarters Building located at 250 W. Larned Street in Detroit. The building was designed by architect Hans Gehrke and constructed in 1929. The lumber was reclaimed during its recent renovation into the Foundation Hotel and Apparatus Room restaurant. The Grand Boulevard style of furniture gives credence to the
