The wood to make the pen was obtained from a damaged desk pen set made originally when the ship was broken up in 1916

I do not know the origin of this wood but sometimes the wood just has to be made use of. The wood has been stabilised to give it the strength to be used as a pen and to allow it to stand up to daily use. The pen makes use of standard Parker type ink refills.
