The slice and the fork are beautifully engraved with crisp acanthus, floral, and foliated designs. The fork design includes a blank crest, which would be an excellent place for a future monogram. Both are hallmarked with a crown for the city of Sheffield, a lion passant indicating sterling silver, a date letter b for 1894, and a maker's mark
