In 1985 it was mothballed. In 2017 Billy Walker and his two business partners acquired the distillery and formed The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited, bringing with them over 100 years of industry knowledge and expertise. The purchase of the distillery included significant aged stocks with over 50,000 casks onsite. In 2018 Billy
