The masks of the larger figures are articulated and open by pulling a cord

There are a few beads missing from the white beaded decorative edging as well

The name was soon shortened to the Art Silver Shop (1918) and their makers mark was adjusted to SAS

The two other stones are oval

Most of the braided cordage is native made although the wrapping on the horizontal pieces is commercial cord and one small area has commercial cord mixed with the native cordage

The feather design is composed of small, closely aligned feather forms which create an elegant design. It is signed "Maria Popovi 1268". The plate is in excellent condition without any repairs of scratches. It is from the Southwest pottery collection of Rhonda Mast. D. 6 " c. 1968 #8836
