The compote has a beautiful floral design with a gilt edge. The hand painted flowers are in lovely shades of pink, blue, yellow, and red. This is a nice piece. Let the photos be your guide. This piece was made between the 1850's 1870's. The compote is in good condition. There is some wear to the gilding as expected overtime. Otherwise, there are no repairs, no chips, no cracks, and no problems.
