Port Askaig 100 Proof - 57.1% - 700ml Sloe oak and toffee/butterscotchAn old 100 proof version of Port Askaig. 57. 1%. This whisky, from an undisclosed distillery, is a great benchmark for cask strength peated whiskies. A rich nose with meaty smoke, burning logs, sea spray and rock pools. Milky coffee and milk chocolate follow stony minerality on the palate. Followed by cinnamon spice and stewed apple. A very long finish which is sweet, spicy cinnamon and chocolate.
