Annie Healing Nampeyo Bowl human figure There is extensive black paintingThis is an exceptional large Hopi bowl attributed to Annie Healing, Nampeyo of Hano's first child who worked closely with her in making pottery. Annie's work is often indistinguishable from Nampeyo's, but Annie showed a preference for using black on red and using white in designs and outlining figures such as on this piece. The designs on this bowl are geometric and 5 tadpoles. The bowl is in excellent condition for its age with a tiny hairline crack
