Island Screen anniversary_gift HorghabostThis mounted screen is imprinted in blue onto white opal glass with the outline of Harris and Lewis and the outlying islands of Taransay, Scalpay, Great Bernera and Scarp. The screen is made from a hand cut piece of glass, assembled and fired in my kiln in Seilebost. The island outline is made from glass powder on top of a clear glass base which is fused at a low temperature to create a slight texture across the islands. The candle screen measures
