Still distilled by hand from antique wood fired continuous stills, bottled at cask strength only when grapes are at the peak, with no additions of coloring, or even water. Fired and aged in black oak barrels from the familys own forests releasing woody compounds from the oak into the base wine. A 1979 grand cru Bas Armagnac bottled in 2021 at 44% by ngociants Laberdolive from grapes grown at Domaine de Jaurrey.
