The pitcher is done in a beautiful green glaze, with brown and blue around the bottom. Around the side is a nicely detailed hand painted lion, with a stylized eye motif off center on the opposite side. This piece came to use with a little handwritten note that includes detailed about the decorator, Eduard Stellmacher, whose father was Alfred Stellmacher
