Secrets (DVD) newspaper headline Producer: Robert FaganMary Pickford makes her final movie appearance in Secrets, adapted from the play by Rudolph Besier and May Edgerton. She also produced the film. Pickford plays a 19th century New England woman who treks across country with her husband Leslie Howard to the wilds of California where they set up a ranch. We then follow the lives of the couple for the next 50 years. This is a remake of a 1924 film with Norma Talmadge and Eugene O'Brien in the titles
