The original team was active sometime between 1900 and 1920 and played various teams around Kentucky. It's not clear if they belonged to a specific league. Later, in the late 1950s and early 60s there was another team from Clay City that played amateur or semi pro ball in the Central Kentucky Baseball League. The CKBL was much more localized as this
