Hospital Ward Size:XL The pumping hall of WestPeeling paint and faded colour mark an abandoned ward inside the Queen Victoria Sanitorium, where rows of beds once lined the room under open sided pavilion construction designed to flood the space with air. The sanitorium operated on Kings Tableland from 1903 until 1999, first treating male tuberculosis patients, then serving as a geriatric hospital for its final 41 years.
