Despite its 15 day maceration, Benedic is always a pale colored, translucent wine that more than makes up for in charm what it lacks in heft. Typically weighing in at just 12. 5% alcohol, it offers notes of macerated cherries, black tea, and licorice on its lithe, easygoing frame, with an undercurrent of forest floor
