Brit35 The inside was painted silverBrit35 The shell is an original WW2, British manufactured MkII shell with a stainless steel banded edge. The stainless steel chinstrap lugs are the MkIII type and are unmarked. The factory stamps under the flare are EB II 1942 (Eveson Bros of Worcester). When acquired the shell was covered in thick smooth olive drab paint inside and out; I observed perhaps a couple of layers; it was in poor condition. The shell cleaned up nicely; it was stripped to
