Evening along Lake McDonald in Montana Presentation:Matted I stopped in the park

I stopped in the park in late 2009 while on a road trip from Sacramento to Denver with a friend

and as I made my way out on the golf course I looked for fresh snow and trees to photograph

At the end of the 2010 season I headed towards Coors Field to photograph around the stadium with the skyline in the background

In the last week or so the fall colors around the Denver metro area have been peaking

What drew me to take this picture was the curving line amongst the layers of ice on the berg

Evening along Lake McDonald in Montana Presentation:Matted I stopped in the parkThis was taken at Glacier National Park in Montana. Just for a change I transformed it to a black and white image which I think tells a little different story in comparison with the original image in color. With the rocks leading us out to the lake and onwards to the mountains it is not a mixture of colors but something which blends the scene together as one just after sunset on this evening.
