The water would come up to and past the rock and then recede back to the ocean

"The Thirty Days Project originally started in 2007 after returning from five months in Missoula

Early in the morning we were out in Zodiacs exploring the giant icebergs which we came across as we sailed up Scoresby Sound and Hall Bredning

Not too far from sea level we came across this area and positioned myself on the rocks next to it in order to capture the lines and textures of the scene

When you find a tree which has character you find yourself back to photograph it in various seasons in different conditions

Ridges in the Mountains Size:16"x20" The water would come upHeading south on the Alaska Railroad from Fairbanks to Anchorage is quite an experience. In early March one year I took this trip and was fortunate to have nice conditions, and yes cold, as the train made the twelve hour journey. As we passed through the Alaska Range the low clouds provided scenic views along with temperatures near zero as I watched from an open window in the train.
