The 58 Archive (formerly “Reserve”) SBPAF set was originally inspired by my time spent with friend and Guitarist Magazine contributor Bob Wootton’s own

non-stagger poles for some extra midrange and a very even string balance

The Firebird pickup takes a totally different approach by instead orientating a bar magnet within each of its two coils and orientating them vertically across the full width of the pickup

Well, theres our low wind 57 set of course but what about if you want some more classic burst bark and punch? Well, these are our answer. Maintaining our typical goal of clarity, sweetness and musicality we add a rough cast Alnico IV magnet to the bridge pickup for some extra high end grit, alongside a very even low mid 8k output to round things out.
