Fall is definitely in the air in Denver and the color is also visible along Speer Blvd

With some wildfires just southwest of Denver I headed out to City Park in early October to photograph the skyline at sunset

Once I found the location again I searched nearby for better areas and set-up my tripod be aware of small cactus in the area as well

I zoomed in on this waterfall to capture the detail of the waterfall and then slightly moved the camera a little bit during the long exposure

As the glacier slowly recedes the lake is forming and started to do so in 1931. If you follow the glacier up it will run into the Juneau Ice Field which is currently the 5th largest in North America.
