The score for movie Drive was composed by Cliff Martinez, a recognized American composer and former drummer most known for his work with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The film is based on the book Drive by James Sallis. Drive is about an unnamed Hollywood stunt performer (played by Ryan Gosling) who moonlights as a getaway driver. At the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, Drive was praised and received a standing ovation. Winding Refn won the
