The piece was hand made on the potters wheel by Lindsey and glaze fired to cone 6 (over 2200 degrees F) in an electric kiln. 11. 5 diameter and 3. 5 tall microwave and dishwasher safe The bowl has a wonderful amethyst color with white flowing over the rim & edges with the inside being a deep blue at the bottom. The glaze looks more purple in real life than it does in the photo, however it is more towards the blue
