This is a superb example Sicilys Nerello Mescalese grape, grown on the northern slope of Mount Etnas mineral rich volcanic soil. The aroma is very fine and delicate with expressive notes of small redcurrant and cherry fruits, wild spices, herbs and cloves. On the palate it is balanced and harmonious, well structured, with minerality on the savoury and persistent finish.
