A tree near the State Capitol was full of color which feel onto the fresh snow and brought the contrast of the seasons into light

Looking to the east on the Hidden Lake trail in mid-July there were still patches of snow around Logan Pass and the trail took us over some of those patches as well

but that is part of the fun of the project in dealing with the elements presented to you each day and finding something to photograph which you are proud to post to the blog each day

It was waiting for that right moment to get the rays of the sun through the tree for this image

Noticing that the wind was blowing out of the south I found myself south of airport to photograph takeoffs. It took a little while for a handful of aircraft to depart in that direction, but after a while I was able to capture some images of the lights moving through the night sky.
