Highway 441 through Great Smoky Mountains National Park from Gatlinburg, TN to Cherokee, N. C. With a crew from the Civilian Conservation Corp. (CCC), stone faced bridges and other aesthetic features were constructed. The most famous of these included the loop over the road, that was designed after Yellowstones Corkscrew Bridge.
