I've seen and photographed wombats many times in Tasmania's wilderness but I haven't seen one sitting on a massive pile of leaves

including Anna-a-Kananda cave which is one of the deepest in Australia

the name is derived from the Latin laurus for the resemblance of the leaves to laurel

You see so many more than when you look at the place on a more surface level

Each of the young one's hammocks are decorated by gumnut mobiles for their entertainment pleasure.
