Abstract Flower Building The water would come up

The water would come up to and past the rock and then recede back to the ocean

which is quite common in churches however the light pouring in gave it a look which was a little different to me

This image was taken around 8pm with a couple of hours of sunlight still remaining on this day

I spent a couple of afternoons photographing in this area

By being low to the ground the footprints leading towards the building became my central focus to place the viewer in the scene itself and lead them towards the decorated City and County Building

Abstract Flower Building The water would come upThere is something to be said about the magnitude of the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Canada. A few years ago I visited the gardens and it is one of those places you can spend all day with your camera. After a while I focused my efforts on using a macro lens in the rose gardens and looking for interesting elements in the flowers themselves which is the above image.
