The water would come up to and past the rock and then recede back to the ocean

An April snowstorm visited the Denver and once the storm had ended I went out to explore around the city

The macro lens also allows me to get closer to the object getting more of the detail of the piece being captured

the current location was not built until 1924 as noted at the top of the facade

On this visit to City Park I went to a familiar spot and zoomed into the city a little to capture the fresh grass of spring at the park on this spring day in Denver

Denver Evening from City Park Presentation:Photobox The water would come upUpon landing back in Denver it appeared the clouds were lining up for a dramatic sunset in the mile high city. As I was driving home I was thinking about a couple of locations to take advantage of this light and came up with City Park due to time concerns. About a half hour prior to sunset everything was still looking great in the sky and as I quickly stopped home they mentioned it on the early news that it could be a colorful sunset once again.
