Under the Colorado State Capitol Dome Presentation:Photobox I placed my camera low

I placed my camera low to the ground to bring in some of the grass for the photograph

This image was taken around 8pm with a couple of hours of sunlight still remaining on this day

The park contains the southern-most volcano in the Cascade Range which is Lassen Peak

This was a great start to the day of watching the scenic landscapes all around

As I waited for the sun to rise it was obvious people were still heading home after a long night

From the first floor of the building looking up is quite the perspective to check out. With the curves which repeat as the inside of the dome makes it presence many floors above.
