I made both the oval shaped agate stones and the solid sterling silver settings that hold them. I cut the stones from a light orange and white Lake Superior agate that was found in MN. They are nicely transparent giving them a gemmy look when light goes through them to the polished back of the setting. I used my own hand forged and formed sterling silver sheet metal
