Antique Black Embroidered Silk Piano Shawl birthstone underbust seam: 30”era: c. 1900s 1920s buttery soft silk crepe with hand embroidered floral decoration around the edges, and with larger medallion motifs at the corners. 10" long fringe all the way around. 60" x 60" not including fringe good very good condition. silk is soft and sturdy; a very "usable" piece. on inspection one discovers scattered small holes, perhaps 15 in all, none larger than a 1 4". these are easily masked in all the volume and drape of the shawl.
