I added a textured pattern to the back of the silver setting

The fordite occurred at a factory in lower Michigan that paints parts for new trucks and suv's

I used partial bezels at the top and bottom of the setting to hold the stone

I cut this stone in a domed teardrop and set it in solid 999 fine and 925 sterling silver

This red was the top most color in this batch of fordite so where you see the red it's slightly recessed which allows the other colors within the red area to peek through. This is a large size piece of fordite. Fordite is very light so this is not a heavy pendant. This fordite is from a plant in Ohio that paints for semi trucks. The fordite is 1. 49 inches tall.
